Licence terms · version 2026-10-16
Software licence agreement.
NARITY LIMITED (“Narity”) licenses Narity Reporter (“Reporter”) under this agreement. “You” means the business named in the order or evaluation licence. The person accepting this agreement confirms their authority to act for that business.
1. Your licence
After payment, Narity grants you a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use Reporter in your own applications.
You may use those applications internally and distribute them for installation in your customers’ environments. There is no limit on applications, installations, servers, or end users. Your customers need no separate Reporter licence.
Your licence covers one legal entity. Affiliates need their own licences.
You may not sell Reporter as a standalone toolkit or sublicense it to another software vendor. SaaS, hosted services for customers, service bureaus, and general reporting services require a separate agreement. Hosting internal applications for your own staff is allowed.
2. Editions and developer seats
| Edition | Price, excluding VAT | Included rights |
|---|---|---|
| Developer | €299 | One developer seat |
| Team | €999 | Five developer seats |
| Source Access | €1,999 | Five developer seats and source code |
A seat covers one named person who writes, builds, or maintains code or report definitions using Reporter. Employees and contractors may hold seats. You are responsible for their compliance.
Build servers, CI runners, test systems, production servers, containers, and disaster-recovery copies need no seat.
You may reassign a seat when its holder leaves your business or project, at most once every 90 days.
3. Source Access
Source Access allows you to read, build, and modify Reporter’s source code for your own applications. You may distribute compiled versions, including your modifications, within the permitted deployment scope.
You must not publish, sell, redistribute, or sublicense Reporter’s source code. Contractors using your seats may access it only for your work and must keep it confidential.
Source archives for each 1.x release are available on request through a private download link. Your source rights continue for the duration of your licence.
4. Versions and evaluation
Every paid licence includes all 1.x releases. Version 2.0 and later major versions require a new licence.
A 30-day evaluation is available for testing. It permits no production use, redistribution, or SaaS use.
5. Payment and refunds
Invoices are payable in EUR within 14 days. Applicable VAT is added. Paid licence rights begin when payment is received.
You may request a full licence refund within 30 days of purchase. A refund ends your licence rights.
6. Defects and support
You may report product defects without charge. Narity investigates them but promises no response time or fix date.
Team and Source Access customers may purchase incident packs for €500 each, excluding VAT. Each pack covers one root cause, without an hourly limit or surcharge.
Narity provides a first response within two business days. There is no guaranteed resolution date.
An incident is resolved when a fix ships or you accept a workaround. If neither is possible, Narity refunds the pack.
Additional root causes require separate packs, agreed before work begins. Unsupported Reporter features are included. Third-party defects, changes to your report design, and your own application code are excluded.
7. Ownership and third-party components
Narity retains ownership of Reporter. This agreement grants usage rights without transferring ownership.
Third-party components remain governed by their own licences. Distributions must include their required notices, licences, and applicable source files.
8. Warranty and liability
Reporter is supplied “as is”, without warranties, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You must assess compatibility with your own reports before production use. Identical output for every report is not guaranteed.
Narity excludes liability to the fullest extent permitted by law. This excludes no liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law prohibits excluding.
The licence and incident-pack refunds described above remain available.
9. Termination
Narity may terminate your licence for a material breach that remains uncorrected 30 days after written notice.
When your licence ends through termination or refund, you must stop using and distributing Reporter, including its source code.
If Narity terminates for breach, installations already supplied to your customers retain their permitted use rights.
10. Governing law
Cyprus law governs this agreement. Disputes are subject to the courts of Cyprus.
Only Narity and you have rights under this agreement. Your customers receive their application rights through you.
Privacy
In this privacy notice, "you" means the person whose data we hold, and "we" and "us" mean NARITY LIMITED.
Privacy and deletion requests can go to [email protected] without signing in.
Local SDK rendering does not send your reports or database credentials to NARITY LIMITED. The online demo uploads a report to process it on our server. It deletes the file after the render, unless the render failed and you chose to let us keep the file.
The portal stores your email address, company, account creation time, last sign-in, the campaign tags and referring site of the visit in which you registered, the terms version you accepted and when, evaluation association, and licence membership. It also stores sign-in requests, daily mail counters, and activity records keyed by a hash of your email address. A hashed address can still identify you, so we treat it as personal data. When an address is removed from a licence, the portal keeps a record of the address so it does not rejoin the licence through its domain. The portal also keeps a log of each change NARITY LIMITED makes to a licence, which lists the licence's addresses. A contact message holds your name, company, email address, and message.
| Unused sign-in links | Deleted when they expire, within one day. |
|---|---|
| Daily mail counters | Deleted two days after their date. |
| Unpaid accounts and evaluations | Deleted 12 months after the later of the evaluation's end and your last sign-in. |
| Sign-in and download activity | Deleted after 90 days. |
| A failed demo file you let us keep | Deleted after 30 days. |
| Failed-demo notifications | Deleted after 90 days. |
| Contact messages | Deleted 12 months after the case closes. |
| Records of removed addresses | The address is deleted 60 days after it was removed. A hashed form of it stays, so it cannot rejoin the licence through its domain, until it is granted again. |
| Records of licence changes | Deleted with the licence's paid records, or two years after the change once the licence no longer exists. |
| Paid orders, licences, and support records | Kept for the contract and two years after it ends, unless the law requires longer. A perpetual licence's contract ends when the licence is terminated or refunded, or when you ask to close the account. |
| Mail-system records and backups | Kept for at most five years. |
Deletion from active storage does not imply immediate deletion from a backup.
These services process data for us: DigitalOcean, for hosting and storage in Frankfurt; Cloudflare, for content delivery and protection; and NARITY LIMITED's own mail server, for sign-in links, contact messages, and failure reports.
